Penni Chadderdon-School Board President

I have been involved with Marshalltown Christian School since 2005-  I feel called by God to let Him use me any way He wants-to help MCS become what He wants! "Walk by Faith NOT by sight"

I have been married to Abie Chadderdon for 14 years.  We have 5 children.  Our younger 2 attend Marshalltown Christian School.

I am a "stay at home mom" after I work a part-time job at Eyecare Associates, volunteer at MCS, help coach softball, basketball & other kid activities, co-chair Oktemberfest Parade for the last 5 years,  attend Cyclone sports & am the family taxi driver.

 

Brent Nuese- Treasurer

Brent is a Marshalltown native. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1975. He has worked at Packaging Corporation of America for 33 years, currently as the Production Planning Manager. He and his wife, Echo, have been married for 19 years. Their son, Alex, currently is enrolled at MCS as a third grader. The family attends First United Methodist Church in Marshalltown. Brent enjoys NASCAR and Hawkeye sports.

Betsy Buck- Education Committee

Betsy Buck has spent over 30 years in education including teaching math in Liberia, West Africa, through Campus Crusade for Christ and later home-schooling her two children. She is currently the Talented and Gifted program teacher at West Marshall School District in State Center. Her husband Ken farmed for 25 years and now works in home remodeling/repair with their son. Ken and Betsy attend First Baptist Church and enjoy music and traveling in their spare time.

MCS Board Objective

The School Board of Marshalltown Christian Association, Inc. is elected during the annual meeting in the summer . Nominees must be members of the MCS Association. Each member is elected to serve a three-year term. Each year three members retire and three new members are elected. These members attend monthly meetings to make decisions concerning the welfare and direction of Marshalltown Christian School.
